lpow, I am so sorry for your loss. I read your post in the Suddenly Widowed group. I am just a little older than you (37). My husband was killed in a work accident in July. He was also 37. We were married 6 years, but together 10. We had sold our home in April and were looking for our dream home. We were also trying to start a family. He was everything to me. He was my sunshine. He was an amazing man. If you needed something, you could count of him to come save the day. Sometimes I thought he wasn't human, because he was always happy and just seemed so perfect. There was only one day that he was frustrated, and that was our settlement day. But, that day was crazy. I was blessed to have the time I did have with him, but he was taken too young. My dad made a comment to me when my husband passed away. He said that there are so many bad people in this world, why did Jim have to die? I get angry every day, but that's not going to bring him back. I am trying to live each day because he would want me to. I recommend a book entitled "Why Bad Things Happen to Good People." I wish you strength in the days to come.

Hi Ipow. Sorry to hear about your husband. There's nothing definitive about what caused my gf's heart attack. I can only speculate that her birth control pills, which I didn't even know she was taking, caused a clot in her lungs that led to the heart failure. But I'll never know for sure...
