I hope you have a great trip. I fiind that I always worry before an event and then am fine once it actually arrives. I hope the same goes for you. My husband and I were married in Tuscany. I'd always imagined we'd all go back there…"
"I'm so sad for all of us! This really stinks. I'm five years out from Craig's death, our kids are now nine and ten. I never dreamed I'd still be missing him so much this far out. I've dated just a very little bit, not gotten…"
"Hi Ding927, I'm sorry for your loss! I lost my husband in a helicopter crash 5 years ago this month. It does really stink when all the dates pile up together. We have the same but just spread out April-June and then Fathers Day too. I and my…"
"I'm sorry for the difficult time alliot123. It's especially bad when many anniversaries and special days come all at once. I don't have any good answers as to how to get through with out him, I just had the 5th anniversary of my…"
"Although I want to tell everyone what my situation is, yes, it's a downer. I'll bring it up if it's relevant to the conversation even if it makes people uncomfortable for a moment. I'm almost five years out but still have preteen…"
"So sorry for the sadness today. It's never far off. We spent 15 months in a military hospital although we're not military. This experience gave me such an appreciation and sympathy for our brave military members and families. Thoughts and…"
"We've had a beautiful spring here in Texas and thankfully so after last year's drought. Unfortunately, spring is also the time my husband had his accident in which he was badly injured (he died 15 months later) and two other people died,…"

"Parabegel, it's hard to respond to your loss. God bless you if you just take sleep meds. I'm thinking Nyquil every night. Probably not the best long term answer and I can't even touch Nyquil as I have kids at home. Don't want to…"
"My retail therapy began with just wanting to rent an RV and drive with my kids west, grand canyon and beyond (in reality scary and can't picture emptying the septic). Instead, I sold our current home and bought one closer into town. The next…"
I am so sorry for your loss. Wow two young kids has got to be really tough. I know it is with just one. I also can't imagine being this lonely forever. We were married for almost 21 years. He was the love of my life. I don't want another husband. I just want my husband back!
Reaching out to others has helped me tremendously! Since your husband was a pilot also, have you had to deal with any litigation? It's been hard for me to reconcile the fact that even though my husband was the most cautious and capable pilot........the plane crashed anyway.
I can't imagine going through the complications of ICU on top of everything else. How are you doing now?
