Thanks for friending me! Yes, I think my son is growing feathers, that's all he orders when we go out too . . . chicken. The other day he saw a hamburger on TV and said it looked good. I almost fell over, of course he actually hasn't ordered a hamburger yet though. Haha!
Thanks for the friend invite. I only found this site a week ago and am still trying to figure everything out. My husband too was 56 when he passed away in November. The next few months are going to be difficult.....wedding anniversary on the 23rd of this month, husband's accident Oct. 5 and his passing on Nov. 3rd. One bright sport...our daugther's first child is due Oct. 11th.....we feel my husband is sending us this blessing at this particular time.....bittersweet.
Thank you for the welcome. I'm still feeling a bit lost here, but I'm trying. I'm very computer literate. I think I just have fog brain. I was so happy & excited on Wednesday evening being able to chat with others, but then yesterday, I was kind of sad that I was able to chat with other widows. Today.... Such a weird rollercoaster. Thank you again though for reaching out. Sorry we have to meet this way.
Thanks for the friend request. I appreciate what you wrote. This wave of grief has been lasting since last weekend. This weekend I realized it is a holiday weekend, and that is when he usually made time to be with us.
