franmcq said… I lost my husband 21 DEC 2010 four days before what would have been his 75th birthday. It was a second marriage for both of us and we were truly soulmates. I still miss him every day and am only now beginning a new normal I purchased a little travel trailer(we traveled full time for 7 and 1/2 years) and am learning that I can do a lot of things! I think he would be really proud. Noticed that you live in Texas, too. Good to have people in WV who are in the same area as well as in the same "boat". Hang in there!

Arnie (New Normal) said… So sorry we have to meet this way, I am Arnie from NJ and offer friendship and a ear when needed. I do not write much but love the chat feature so I hope to see you there. My losses are many in short times, a 19 yr old son, a wife of 21-1/2 yrs, a Dad and BF wife all in span of less than 7 months, new and very deep but I have found an amazing place of comfort and healing, this place has been a big part of it. The rest of my "healing" is for private conversations. Just wanted to say Hi and welcome to the club no one wanted to belong to.
Love and hugs for my new friend
