Hi Darren, glad to be a friend.  Although I’ve completed my grief journey, I still try to read entries on WV and encourage others when I am able. It is a tough road but those of us here understand each other’s pain unlike those around us who haven’t dealt with losing a spouse or a partner.  Unfortunately, feeling this type of pain is part of healing, we need to experience it.  Allow the emotion to flow.  Journaling, as suggested by another poster might be helpful too. Just want to assure you that you will find acceptance and be able to smile and laugh again one day.  We learn to live with our great loss.
