- Im 49 and my husband passed away 12-10-2012 of a massive heart attack.Last week we would have celebrated our 25th anniversary.We have two daughters 20 and 26.One is on her own and the younger one just married this last August.I walk around with a gaping wound in my heart and am clueless as how to survive this loss.

My sweetie passed on October 16, 2012 after battling ovarian cancer for 8 yrs. It almost seems surreal that she is gone. We were high school sweethearts so I am trying to deal with this emptiness that I couldn't even imagine. I'm even tearing up while typing this but it needs to come out.
I find this site comforting and helpful overall. We all have common thoughts and feelings that we experience on our journey. I find that essentially, what I'm going through, is normal.

25 from ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease. It was horrible especially the last 3 months'. I'm truly so very sorry you are a widow. We are all struggling together! C
