Sorry the picture is so huge.  I took this photo this morning while I was sitting on our back patio and it was raining buckets.  My Honey loved a good storm and we'd just sit in silence and watch the rain.  I got a new camera so I decided to practice my rain photos.  After uploading them and seeing this one it spoke to me the most.  I feel like I'm closed off and looking at hope that is just out of arms reach.  The bird is just watching me wondering why I am so sad but is sticking with me to make sure I'm not alone.  We are all not alone here.  Just wanted to share:)

Honeyspuddin:  That is a great picture!  I too love the bird rock and love your description of the gargoyle and the bird rock.  It is so appropriate for all of us.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone.  I've decided that photography is going to be my full time hobby.  It's something I can do by myself.  I've splurged on equipment and now I'm taked to try and learn how to use it.  I was always a point n shooter and loved taking photos and was always so proud to show Honey my latest ones.  I have hundreds of him and I thank goodness.  Happy Monday:)

Hope is good:)

Thanks for that honeyspuddin.

The bird reminds me of the lucky blue wren on the farm. When it hopped past something good would happen. No lucky blue wrens up here but lovely kookaburras on the power pole posts (they make a laughing sound at dawn and dusk) and sometimes beautifully coloured rainbow lorikeets that travel in pairs and line up on the balcony rail when it's raining...maybe 12 lined up. My John loved them.

Also enjoy the sight of pelicans flying over the bay.

thanks for sharing.

Really nice picture, and really nice reading of it.  Thanks.
