Join the blog hop: Widowed people review NBC's "Go On" sitcom

A new NBC sitcom features Matthew Perry of "Friends" mega fame as a young widowed sportscaster. People keep asking me, "what do widowed people think of the show?"

I don't want to say too much about my personal take on the show -- yet * -- but there have already been a few blog reviews by members of my communities and circles so I thought it would make sense to do a Linky, blog hop, blog carnival, or whatever of our thoughts on the show.

I'll be creating a new post in the next few days that contains all the links to those who post. If you're working on a review, please do let me know by THURSDAY OCTOBER 4, when I will publicize that post with everyone's link in it. So, subscribe using the email link over there -----------> or email me direct.

Looking forward to seeing what a whole roundtable thinks of the show... really! There are some good gags in it.

Here's a quick clip from the show. * * *

* I HOPE YOU ALL KNOW HOW HARD IT IS FOR ME TO KEEP MY OPINIONS TO MYSELF, EVEN ABOUT A DUMB * *  TV SHOW.
* * Dammit, I leaked. OK, I'm saving MOST of it for the review next week!
* * * This is not one of them. * * * *
* * * * I'm signing off before I do any more damage....

I haven't watched it, I have to admit, because I have it in my mind I won't like it. I guess the chip on my shoulder is speaking for me on this one. I will give it a try though and try to keep an open mind!

Kim A&M... love your post, have it included in the "master" post for Thursday! Was trying to avoid reading others' opinions to avoid coloring my opinion but... i couldn't resist...

Thank you!

I have seen a few bits of two episodes and I didn't know the backstory...even by watching it I didn't know what the group he was in was about and even why he was in it. So that tells you something or how little i caught of th show. For someone a month out he is awfully flippant and unemotional. "friends" this show is not. I only dvr shows I like and this one wont make the list...now can we talk about modern family to take your mind off things and out right belly laugh with tears...that show helps me forget.

well I watched the trailer on youtube and it looks pretty pathetic.   They need much better writers.
