I know Pandora learns its listeners preferences, but I still don't think it's a coincidence that tonight I've heard If I Die Young, I Can Only Imagine (Shane's funeral song), Die A Happy Man, and now Marry Me (Shane and I's song). I think this was to get my attention, and then the next couple of songs played, some new to me, some I needed to listen again to the lyrics:

You're Not Alone by Meredith Andrews

I searched for love when the night came and it closed in
I was alone, but You found me where I was hiding
And now I'll never ever be the same
It was the sweetest voice that called my name, saying

You're not alone for I am here
Let me wipe away your every fear
My love, I've never left your side
I have seen you through the darkest night
And I'm the One who's loved you all your life
All your life

You cry yourself to sleep
'Cause the hurt is real and the pain cuts deep
All hope seems lost with heartache your closest friend
And everyone else long gone
You've had to face the music on your own
But there is a sweeter song that calls you home, saying

You're not alone for I am here
Let me wipe away your every tear
My love, I've never left your side
I have seen you through the darkest night
And I'm the One who's loved you all your life
All your life

Faithful and true forever
My love will carry you

You're not alone for I, I am here
Let me wipe away your every fear
My love, I've never left your side
I have seen you through the darkest night
Your darkest night
And I'm the One who's loved you all your life
All your life

By Your Side Tenth Avenue North

Why are you striving these days? Why are you trying to earn grace?
Why are you crying? Let me lift up your face, just don't turn away

Why are you looking for love? Why are you still searching as if I'm not enough?
To where will you go child? Tell me where will you run, to where will you run?

'cause I'll be by your side wherever you fall
In the dead of night whenever you call
And please don't fight these hands that are holding you
My hands are holding you

Look at these hands at my side

They swallowed the grave on that night

When I drank the world's sin

So I could carry you in

and give you life I wanna give you life

And I'll be by your side wherever you fall

In the dead of night whenever you call

And please don't fight these hands that are holding you

My hands are holding you

Here at my side wherever you fall

In the dead of night whenever you call

And please don't fight these hands that are holding you

My hands are holding you

'Cause I, I love you, I want you to know

That I, yeah I love you, I'll never let you go

No, no

And I'll be by your side wherever you fall

In the dead of night whenever you call

And please don't fight these hands that are holding you

My hands are holding you

Here at my side wherever you fall

In the dead of night whenever you call

And please don't fight these hands that are holding you

My hands are holding you

Here at my side

My hands are holding you

God's Not Dead Newsboys
Let love explode and bring the dead to life
A love so bold
To seek a revolution somehow
Let love explode and bring the dead to life
A love so bold
To bring a revolution somehow
Now I'm lost in Your freedom
In this world I'll overcome
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
Roaring, He's roaring, He's roaring like a lion
Let hope arise and make the darkness hide
My faith is dead I need resurrection somehow
Now I'm lost in Your freedom
In this world I'll overcome
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
Roaring, He's roaring, He's roaring like a lion
He's roaring, He's roaring
Let heaven roar and fire fall
Come shake the ground
With the sound of revival
Let heaven roar and fire fall
Come shake the ground
With the sound of revival
Let heaven roar (Let heaven roar) and fire fall
Come shake the ground
With the sound of revival
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
He's roaring, He's roaring, He's roaring like a lion
He's roaring, He's roaring, He's roaring like a lion (Roaring like a lion)

I've had similar experiences with pandora. The most memorable one was when I asked my husband for a particular song as a sign. It came on, then the one that he sang to me during a karaoke night (it played twice in a row), and then our wedding song. I was listening to a new pandora station that I had just added. This seemed like an answer to a request for a sign rather than coincedence.

This past Father's Day weekend, I was remembering how my husband's watch stopped, last year, on Father's Day after his passing in May 2016. I like to think that this was a message to our children.

I have many other examples of things that happened just before and after his passing. To me, these things mean that even though I can't see him, he's still with me.

You can delete any stations you don't care for. However, it's hard to eliminate reminders altogether. When two lives become entwined, almost everything brings a reminder of some kind. I recall back when I was first widowed, TV ads about personal couple products were running each time I sat down to watch TV! Guess growing an extra layer of skin is required, I don't know. Time helps with that a lot but I still go back with reminders. It's somewhat involuntary.
