Widowed Village

A community of peers created by the Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation

This morning was horrible...I hurt the people I love here because I almost attempted suicide. I was miserable, in so much pain and darkness that I saw no way out except with a pill bottle. I am so sorry for putting you all though so much. After words of love and encouragement I won't let this happen.

My friend saw my tears and I broke down and told him what I had almost done. We spoke and he told me that I am a Phoenix, now slowly rising out of the ashes, ready to fly high. And when I soar, he wants to be there when it happens because tremendous things will happen my way.

I need help, I know. I will look for that and do what I must to get better. John is my hawk--I am the Phoenix.

Emy Supa and Aussiewidow are both correct.  Get yourself some help now, please!  Not for me but for your late husband.  He wants to be proud of who you are.
