OMG!"Take it Easy"is one of our forever songs. I still sing to it at the top of my lungs. My singing is horrible! So bad DH asked me to not ever sing -not even lullabies to our babies!

Lemmy Kilmister, David Bowie, Alan Rickman and now Glenn Frey...
Feels like my youth is truly slipping away. Sigh ...
Ah, but the memories are still fresh ...

RIP Glenn ...

We have lost so many talented artists recently. It does serve as a reminder that our days on this earth are limited. Try to remember to let your loved ones know much you love them. Give hugs. Help others. Give thanks. Try to laugh whenever it is possible. I am grateful for much.

Rest in Peace Glenn Frey

The first time that I ever saw the Eagles was in 1974 at Cal Jam. Tickets were $10 in advance. Don Felder missed the show, his son was being born at the time. Jackson Browne filled in on piano and guitar.

The Eagles have always been one of my favorite groups. After I lost Cindy, music was and has been such an important part of my healing. This certainly included some Eagles songs that are some of the most meaningful to me.

"A perfect day, the sun is sinkin’ low
As evening falls, the gentle breezes blow
The time we shared went by so fast
Just like a dream, we knew it couldn’t last
But I’d do it all again
If I could, somehow
But I must be leavin’ soon
It’s your world now ..."
